Doubledays Sign Two Players from Division 1 UMass Lowell

The Auburn Doubledays welcome two new standout players to their upcoming 2022roster. Right-hand pitcher Brendan Williams - an Auburn native - and outfielder Trey Brown from Rochester are the team's latest players for the anticipated summer season.


Brendan Williams first attended Cayuga Community College from 2019 to 2021 and earned a 1-2 record. The pitcher currently boasts several impressive stats, including five starts in nine total appearances, posting a 3.82 era in 35.1 innings pitched, has a .381batting average in 42 at-bats, has a total of 43 strikeouts, drove in 13 runs, and has drawn 22 walks. Brendan is the son of Kristy and Tavary Williams of Auburn, NY, and has two siblings, Tyler and Ely.


Outfielder Trey Brown hails from Rochester, NY, and is the second latest player to join the Doubledays. During his career at Monroe Community College, Trey appeared in 82total games, recorded a .427 batting average with 92 runs batted and eight home runs, and recorded 111 putouts and a .973 percentage. Trey was a varsity starter every year, a fourth team All-NY State Selection member in his first year, and a Section 5 Class ASectional Champion his sophomore year. This year, the outfielder will be transferring to UMass Lowell. Trey is the son of Melissa Kehoskie and Dave Brown and has two younger brothers, Damon and Nevin.
