The Auburn Doubledays would like to welcome four players from Division One powerhouse Louisiana-Monroe.
Michael Cervantes, William Perkins, Cole Brady, and Lane Little have all been a large part of the Warhawks' success this season.
Michael Cervantes is a League City, Texas native and will be found in the infield this summer for the Doubledays. Michael has valuable experience in collegiate summer baseball. Last year, Cervantes was the captain of the Mansfield Destroyers and developed attention from scouts and universities by compiling an impressive .406 batting average.
William Perkins from Sterlington, Louisiana, will be tracking balls down in the outfield this summer while calling Auburn his home for June, July, and August. William’s talent manifested itself in High School as he garnered numerous awards and high praise.
Cole Brady from Nacogdoches, Texas, will be found on the mound as a left-handed pitcher for the Doubledays. Brady helped his high school to three undefeated district championships and a regional championship. As a senior in 2021, he was ranked as one of the top 10 players in class 3A while posting the 7th lowest ERA in the State of Texas at an impressive 0.67.
The Doubledays round out their roster from Louisiana Monroe with Lane Little, who stands 6’ 3” and hails from West Monroe, LA. Lane will be a welcomed addition to the Doubledays as he will be a right-handed presence on the mound. As a senior in 2021, Lane posted a 10-4 record with a 1.80 ERA over 81 innings. Little also made 15 starts with 8 shutouts for his club in 2021.
